Image: Answer Being a member, at NO COST, of the CACC Network, means you will be:
  • Provided with assistance for trade and investment opportunities in Canada or Australia (including access to high quality resources)
  • Provided with assistance to make bilateral trade and investment connections
  • Able to promote your company to the Chamber´s extensive group of companies and sponsors
  • Invited to attend CACC events
  • Provided with opportunities to network
  • Provided with assistance for any request relevant to furthering the CACC mission (which is to increase the level of trade and investment between Australia and Canada)

Image: Answer The CACC has decided to take a mission focused rather than member focused approach so it can solely focus on pursuing its mission, which is to increase the level of trade and investment between Australia and Canada.

Being a mission focused organisation enables the chamber to be inclusive and easily accessible to anyone interested in the mission. This allows participation of groups relevant to the Chamber mission regardless of desire to pay or commit to a formal membership.

Image: Answer The CACC is a not-for-profit organisation. We maintain our operations through the generous sponsorship support of business, our fundraising efforts and with the support of project volunteers.

  • Communication of business ideas and market opportunities from the business community in Australia to appropriate participants in Canada and vice versa.
  • Targeted introductions and Communications
    • Events for a particular industry sector or aimed at a specific segment within the Chamberˇ¦s audience. E.g. Networking Roundtable of ICT exporters to Canada.
    • Specific introductions in support of specific opportunities. E.g. Connecting offshore resources with appropriate businesses in Australia of Canada.
  • Promoted or "open" events
    • Information specific to Australian / Canadian trade and investment of interest to a broader segment of the business community.
    • Opportunities for local engagement and networking amongst individuals and organisations interested in supporting bilateral trade and investment.
  • Major Trade Missions and Projects

Image: Answer The Canadian Government through its Consulate in Sydney and the Australian Government via Austrade, Invest Australia and its High Commissioner to Canada is very supportive of the Canadian Australian Chamber of Commerce.
